Online courses with certificates, explained honestly
A FastSkillsAcademy certificate says one specific thing: this person finished this course and passed its timed final exam on this date, and anyone can check that claim in seconds. Here is exactly how it works, and what it is not.
How you earn a certificate
1. Enrol and pay once
One payment per course, no subscription. Access does not expire, so you can come back to the lessons after you finish.
2. Work through the lessons
Short, text-based lessons you can read on a phone during a commute. No video, no scheduled sessions, no group pace to keep up with.
3. Pass each module quiz at 70%
Every module ends with a short quiz. Quizzes are graded on our server, not in your browser, and you can retake them as often as you need.
4. Pass the final exam at 80%
One timed exam drawn from the whole course. Three attempts. Grading and the pass decision both happen server-side.
5. Get a verifiable certificate
Issued automatically on your pass, with a unique public ID. Download the PDF from your dashboard and share the verification link with anyone.

These three things get mixed up constantly, and the difference matters when you are deciding what to spend money on.

Our courses are the first column. They are strong evidence of initiative and current knowledge for a hiring manager, and they are the wrong tool if the law requires a licence. Our free practice tests help you prepare for official government tests, but the official result always comes from the authority that runs the test, never from us.
How verification works
Certificates are records in our database, not files you edit. Each one gets a unique public ID at the moment it is issued. Anyone with that ID can open the verification page and see the learner name, the course title and the issue date exactly as we hold them. If a certificate was never issued, the page says so. There is no way for a learner to change any of it, and there is no way to fake a valid ID, which is what makes the check worth anything to an employer.
How to list it on LinkedIn and your resume
On LinkedIn, use the licences and certifications section. Put the course title as the name, FastSkillsAcademy as the issuing organisation, the month and year you passed, and the verification URL in the credential URL field. On a resume, add a short certifications block near the bottom: course title, FastSkillsAcademy, year. Do not describe it as a degree, a licence or an accreditation, because that is the one thing that turns a genuine credential into a red flag in an interview.

Frequently asked questions
Is a FastSkillsAcademy certificate accredited?
No. It is a certificate of completion issued by FastSkillsAcademy, not a government licence or a qualification from an accrediting body. It proves you completed the course and passed a timed final exam at 80% or better, and anyone can verify that claim from the certificate ID.
How do employers check my certificate?
Every certificate carries a unique public ID. An employer enters that ID on our verification page and sees the learner name, course title and issue date pulled straight from our records. Nothing is emailed, nothing can be edited by the learner.
What do I have to do to earn one?
Read every lesson in the course, pass each module quiz at 70% or better, then pass the final exam at 80% or better. You get three attempts at the final exam. The certificate is issued automatically the moment you pass, once payment for the course has been confirmed.
Does the certificate expire?
No. The issue date is shown on the certificate and on the verification page so anyone can see how recent it is, but the record itself does not expire and does not need renewing.
Can I put it on LinkedIn and my resume?
Yes. Add it under licences and certifications with FastSkillsAcademy as the issuing organisation, the issue date, and the verification link. On a resume, list it under a certifications heading with the course title and year.
Are the free practice tests certified too?
No. The practice tests are free study tools with no certificate attached. Certificates come only from completing a paid course and passing its final exam.
