The US naturalisation interview includes a civics test. A USCIS officer asks up to 10 questions from the official list of 100, spoken out loud, and you must answer 6 correctly to pass. There is no multiple choice in the real interview, so the goal of practice is recall, not recognition.
These 10 practice tests cover the official 100 questions, grouped by theme so you can study one area at a time instead of memorising a flat list. Every question shows an explanation after you answer, so a wrong answer teaches you something rather than just costing you a point.
Answers about current office holders, such as the President, the Vice President, the Speaker of the House and your own state's governor and senators, change over time. Always confirm those against the USCIS website before your interview.

All 100 questions and answersFrequently asked questions
How many questions are on the US citizenship test?
The officer asks up to 10 questions from the official list of 100. You pass by answering 6 correctly, and the officer stops as soon as you reach 6.
Is the real civics test multiple choice?
No. The officer asks the questions orally and you answer in your own words. Multiple choice practice is useful for learning the material, but you should practise saying answers out loud too.
Is this practice free?
Yes. All 10 practice tests and the full 100 question list are free, with no account needed.
What else is on the naturalisation test?
Besides civics there is an English test covering reading, writing and speaking. The full preparation course covers all four parts.
