This test covers integrated civics geography: which states border Canada and Mexico, where the capital is, and where the Statue of Liberty stands. It also begins the symbols section with the flag questions.
In the real interview the officer asks up to ten questions orally and stops at six correct answers. Geography questions usually accept any one item from a long list, so pick the answer you know best. If you live in a border state, naming your own state is the easiest possible answer.
Study tip for this theme: there are only four states bordering Mexico, and they are easy to learn as a set from west to east. California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. The Canadian border list is far longer, so learn just one or two names from it.
