The Life in the UK test is a computer based exam of 24 multiple choice questions taken in 45 minutes. The pass mark is 75 percent, which means 18 correct answers. You need it for settlement, known as indefinite leave to remain, and for British citizenship.
Every question in the real test comes from the official handbook, "Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents". Nothing outside that handbook is tested, which is good news: the syllabus is finite and you can genuinely finish it.
These 24 practice tests each hold 24 questions and follow the handbook chapter by chapter, from British values through to how Parliament and the courts work. Take them in order to learn the material, then retake them in random order to check you can recall it under time pressure. Every answer comes with an explanation so you can see where a gap is.
